Maybe you know all the Wonder Woman Mythology, and perhaps you don’t. Either way, you can begin here. You are treated to Diana’s backstory with much more detail than the DC movie.
I loved this story of Greek mythology, girl power, and just a bit of a young lady saving her friend Alia and the world. (In other words, epic) My favorite quote:
“I am done being careful. I am done being quiet. Let them see me angry. Let them hear me wail at the top of my lungs.”
The other thing that stood out (besides the action-packed plot) was the diversity of the characters and how they worked together although being very different from one another.
I’m looking forward to the Batman and Catwoman books in this new YA series.
Verdict- Borrow, cause if you are a WonderWoman superfan, you already know about this book and own it. 🙂
I borrowed this book from the library to read and review it here.
